To say I am excited to serve the Stratford School District and community is an understatement! We have so much to be thankful for in the SSD. We have had many successes with student achievement, extracurriculars, and helping our students reach their full potential in becoming life/career/college ready, while staying fiscally responsible.
Prior to this role, I was the high school principal in the Mosinee School District for nine years and a technology education teacher in the Fond du Lac School District for twelve years. I received my bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in Technology education, my masters from Marian University in Educational Leadership, and my Doctorate in Education from Edgewood College.
My wife, Gina, and I have two children. Drayton is in college at Bemidji State University and Adalyn is at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
As I stated earlier, I am very excited to be a part of the Stratford School District. We have many things to be proud of. We have scored extremely high on our state test scores, (highest school repord card scores in Marathon County), and we provide the third most dual credits and youth apprenticeship options in the Northcentral Technical College Consortium. As a School Community, we will continue to look at areas to improve while always making decisions that are in the best interest of meeting students’ needs.
Have a wonderful school year and remember, every day is a great day to be a TIGER!
